Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak will try to convince Conservative members living in the North of England they should be Prime Minister in a hustings to be screened exclusively on GB News.
The candidates will go head-to-head in Manchester on Friday (August 19) in a two-hour programme which will broadcast live on television, online and on GB News Radio on DAB+.
Earlier this month GB News screened a specialPeople's Forumwith Liz Truss, which saw the Foreign Secretary answer questions from an audience in Leigh, Greater Manchester.
On Friday, presenter Alastair Stewart will interview Ms Truss and Mr Sunak separately. Questions, selected at random, will then be put to the pair by Tory party members.

The event comes 12 years after Alastair hosted the first ever televised leaders’ debate between David Cameron, Nick Clegg, and Gordon Brown in 2010.
“I am delighted to be returning to Manchester to host the Conservative Party hustings with Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak,” Alastair said.
“This time, I get the chance to grill the candidates and oversee the audience's interrogation of them. As we enter the final phase of the campaign, the timing is perfect.
“There are many big issues in need of further examination. These include, what the candidates think is the role of the state; How big it should be; and how much the Government should try to do, with taxpayers picking up the tab?
“Both have touched on it, but I hope we can go much further with these fundamental questions about the future of the UK.
“As we enter the final phase of the campaign, the timing is perfect because there are many big issues in need of further examination, especially as the winner will not only lead the Conservative Party but the whole country as our next PM."
The hustings will be broadcast from 1900-2100 on August 19.
