Prince Andrew is set to play a “central role” in Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral next Monday.
Andrew has played a key role in several events following Queen Elizabeth II’s death on Thursday.
Among the events he attended included the service of thanksgiving at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh on Monday.
But following the funeral, the Duke of York reportedly “has no hope of returning to public life once she is laid to rest”.

It is “out of the question” for him to be involved in the Royal Family, The Telegraph has said, citing a palace source.
Andrew will not wear military uniform in events mourning Queen Elizabeth’s death, but will for the final vigil.
As a non-working royal, the Duke of York will not wear uniform except as a special mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II at the final vigil in Westminster Hall
Working members of the Royal Family will wear military uniform when present at five ceremonial events during this period of mourning Queen Elizabeth II.
These are the Service of Thanksgiving at St Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh, the procession to Westminster Hall and service of prayer and reflection, the Vigil at Westminster Hall, the state funeral at Westminster Abbey and the Committal Service at St George’s Chapel Windsor.
