Staffordshire Police launched an appeal in the early hours of this morning.
In a tweet posted at 3.37am today, they said that the youngster had not been seen since the previous evening.

The tweet read: "We need your help in finding 13 year-old Layla Stanley from Lichfield. She was last seen at around 7.30pm on 5th April.
"Please call us on 101 quoting incident 759 05th April."
Layla is described as white with long brown hair with highlights.
She was last seen wearing a black cropped bomber jacket, white crop top underneath, black jeans and black trainers.
Shortly before 12pm on Wednesday, Staffs Police confirmed Layla had been found safe and well.
