Nigel Farage criticised the "very alarming" trend of a "tiny minority" of left-wing activists disrupting the process of finding and deporting illegal migrants from the UK.
"On Friday, an immigration enforcement unit turned up on the outskirts of Greater Manchester", he said.
"They went to a restaurant where there were two suspected illegal immigrants working in the restaurant.
"What they were met with, when they were seen in the area, pretty much immediately, were a series of tweets going out saying 'come please and support'."

Nigel reacted to the footage: "I find this kind of anarchic lawlessness really very very strange.”
"We’ve seen similar scenes in Deptford, south London, [and] in Glasgow.”
The GB News host then referred to the case of Yaqub Ahmed in 2018.
Ahmed, a Somalian man, was taken off a flight to Turkey after other passengers protested his removal from the UK.
It later emerged that Ahmed was being deported as he was a convicted gang rapist.
Nigel said: "Well done all of you!"
"All the people on that plane must have felt how good and virtuous they are."
Taking aim at the trend of activists interfering in the deportation process, Nigel said: "Behind it all, almost a new enemy within, who would like to destroy everything we’ve ever stood for as a nation.
"Happily they’re a tiny tiny minority."
