A Mosque has proudly displayed the Union Jack from their window to show their national pride.
Ibraham Syed, from The Wirral Deen Centre on Borough Road in Birkenhead, said the centre found the flag attached to a railing outside the building.
He believes it was "intended to cause offence" but highlighted that it was the perfect opportunity to show their allegiance to this country.
Union Jack and St George's flags have been appearing in their hundreds across Britain in a movement referred to as "raise the colours."

|He said: "We thought strong and powerful response would be to show that this is our flag and we are proud British Muslims.
"My parents worked and lived here, my grandparents came here.
"So I think it's a common misconception that Muslims aren't regarded as British, we needed to address that."
The "Raise the Colour" movement has been adopted by several senior figures from across the political spectrum, including the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister told the BBC: "I’m the leader of the Labour Party who put the Union Jack on our Labour Party membership cards. I always sit in front of a Union Jack. I’ve been doing it for years, and it attracted a lot of comment when I started doing it."
When asked if he was encouraging people to put up more flags, the Prime Minister said: "I’m very encouraging of flags. I think they’re patriotic, and I think they’re a great symbol of our nation.
"I don’t think they should be devalued and belittled. And I think sometimes when they’re used purely for divisive purposes, it actually devalues the flag. I don’t want to see that. I’m proud of our flag. I sit in front of our flag, and I’m very, very proud to do so."

| GOOGLEReform UK has also publicly endorsed the movement by launching the "patriotic flag pact" where all 12 councils controlled by the Party have vowed not to remove St George's Cross and Union Jacks from lampposts.
The Reform councils cite both flags as symbols of unity and inclusion, and have said that they will not be taken down.
Nigel Farage spoke on GB News where he reacted to Essex County Council for offering to support its staff left "upset" by St George’s or Union Jack flags put up in recent days.
He said: “I’ve got to tell you, as an Essex MP, and yes, I was in Clacton at the weekend and there are an awful lot of St George’s crosses.
"And yes, there are some in places they ought not to be. But I found this whole thing rather uplifting."
