The Director General of Border Force has been rewarded for his "services to Border Security and Public Service", despite over 130,000 people crossing the border illegally via small boats, since he entered the role in 2021.
Phil Douglas has been made Companion of the Order of the Bath despite over 15,000 illegal border crossings so far this year, including 919 on Friday, June 13.
Reform UK MP Lee Anderson told GB News: "Once again, we are rewarding failure at the highest level.
"This useless man has overseen 130,000 illegal migrants invade our country when he is paid handsomely to protect our borders.

"He should be sacked and made to apologise to the British taxpayer. If he accepts this award, then he has no shame and is gaslighting us all."
Douglas, who started his civil service career as an immigration officer at Heathrow Airport, was one of eight individuals to receive the Order of the Bath as part of the King's Birthday Honours List.
He has also previously worked at the Ministry of Justice and the former UK Representation to the European Union.
Robert Bates, Research Director at the Centre for Migration Control, described Douglas' time at Border Force as an "unmitigated failure".

Bates told GB News: "The only people who would actually applaud the work he has done are the illegal migrants and people smugglers.
"This news gets to the heart of why our borders are in such bad shape: low-grade individuals without an achievement to their name are endlessly rewarded.
"Douglas should not be receiving a CB, he should be having a P45 thrust into his hand and removed from post."
On June 3, 1,195 migrants made the crossing across the Channel in 19 small boats.

That figure was a record daily arrival for 2025, and one of the busiest days since the Channel migrant crisis began in 2018.
This week, Labour Minister Darren Jones had to clarify his comments, after stating "the majority of the people in these boats" are women and children.
But according to Home Office data, almost three-quarters of illegal migrants are adult men.
Jones said: "Of course, the overall majority of people arriving illegally on small boats are men - but not 'north of 90 per cent' as Reform claimed.
