Meghan Markle has said it is "very nice to be back in the UK" as she took to the stage in front of 2,000 young leaders in Manchester this evening.
Prince Harry joined her as the two made their first public appearance back in the UK since they returned for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June.
The Duchess, who was dressed in a red outfit, smiled and held hands with the Duke as they made their way through the auditorium.
Meghan made a keynote address on gender equality, her first in-person speech in the UK since quitting as a senior working royal amid the Megxit crisis more than two years ago.
The pair were sat centre stage on a bench together as they joined One Young World counsellors to watch the flag bearers parading the flags of more than 200 countries during a ceremony.

Meghan, with her hair in a sleek ponytail, sat with her legs crossed and swayed in time to a rendition of Dancing In The Streets as she clapped her hands.
Opening her speech, Meghan smiled as she said: "Good evening everyone, it is very nice to be back in the UK and it is very nice to be back with all of you at One Young World."
She went on to tell young future world leaders: “You are the future… you are the present,”
Also a counsellor for the global youth charity organisation, Meghan told the attendees: “You are the ones driving the positive and necessary change needed across the globe now in this very moment. For that, I’m so grateful to be in your company today."
