Meghan Markle “finally has her voice back” after “being silenced by the institution”, a royal expert has claimed.
Meghan met Prince Harry in 2016 before the pair got married two years later in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
But in 2020, both Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals before subsequently moving to the US to live shortly after.
This week, the first episode of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast was released on Spotify, with Meghan sitting down with tennis great Serena Williams.

Among the topics discussed included Meghan having to leave her son Archie following a house fire in South Africa, in order to take part in royal engagements.
While during a discussion about moments in Ms Williams’ time as a player, Meghan said: "Oh my gosh you were treated completely unfairly.”
And speaking following the launch of Meghan’s new podcast, Sussex friendly journalist Omid Scobie said Meghan “finally has her voice back.”
Mr Scobie tweeted: “Once silenced by the institution, Meghan finally has her voice back.
“A voice that will be very familiar to those who followed her before meeting Harry.
“This time, however, she’s brought an entire movement alongside it.”
His comments come just weeks before Meghan and Prince Harry are set to visit the UK to attend several charity events.
The couple will travel to Manchester for the One Young World Summit on September 5, before heading to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event, and then returning to the UK for the WellChild Awards on September 8.
The trip will be the first time the couple have visited the UK since the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this year, to mark 70 years of Her Majesty’s reign.
