A double-decker bus has crashed into a bridge in Greater Manchester, leaving 15 people injured.
One person has been critically injured and two others seriously hurt, with all 15 being rushed to Salford Royal and Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The bus crashed at the junction of Barton Road and Trafford Road in Eccles, Salford, at about 3pm, Greater Manchester Police said.
Air ambulance teams have been in attendance, with road closures in place as police advise people to avoid the surrounding areas.

A spokesman for Transport for Greater Manchester said: "Shortly after 3.10pm, we received reports of a double-decker bus colliding with a bridge on Barton Lane in Eccles.
"The bus was a 100 service and in operation at the time of the collision.
"Our absolute priority right now is supporting the emergency response and the people who were on board."
One individual said the crash was "horrific" and they are "still in shock".

Another explained that they saw two people fall out from the top floors of the bus onto the ground, with another adding there was a "really loud explosion".
In December 2023, a bus crashed into the same bridge but did not have any passengers on board.
In April of that year, the roof of another bus was ripped off when it struck the bridge.
One local resident claimed that this was the "third or fourth time" a bus has crashed into the same canal bridge.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman added: "We are currently responding to a collision between a bus and a bridge at the junction of Barton Lane and Trafford Road in Eccles.
"Emergency services are currently on scene as part of the ongoing work.
"Please avoid the area as road closures are currently in place."
