The Metropolitan Police has launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old boy was killed during a stabbing in Westminster.
Scotland Yard was alerted about an incident in Paddington Green at 1.41pm.
Officers attended and were accompanied by paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
The 17-year-old boy was found having sustained a stab wound.

Emergency services provided their “best efforts” at the scene.
However, the teenager was pronounced dead at 2.15pm.
Confirming the investigation, Scotland Yard said: “A murder investigation is under way following a stabbing in Westminster.”

The location also sits between Phileas Fox Nursery School and City of Westminster College.
The victim’s next of kin have been informed.
However, the Metropolitan Police continues with its enquiries.
The force also confirmed no arrests have yet been made.

Officers had closed roads to vehicles around the college.
The UK’s largest police force is now pleading with anyone with information to come forward.
In its statement, the Metropolitan Police added: “Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to tweet @MetCC or call 101 quoting CAD 4068/19JUN.
“To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
