Former Editor of lads magazine Loaded, Martin Daubney, has hailed the relaunch of the publication as its new female editor has defended its comeback.
First launched in 1994, the print publication ceased being issued in March 2015 but was then relaunched as a digital magazine in November of the same year.
To mark the 30th anniversary of Loaded, Editor Danni Levy has relaunched Loaded as a "digital lifestyle brand", without its usual risqué material.
Speaking to Levy on GB News, Martin admitted he was "surprised" by the relaunch, but praised that there was "life in the old Loaded dog" yet.

When asked by Martin why she chose to relaunch Loaded, Levy revealed: "We want to reignite that nostalgia. Not only that, but there is nothing out there for men that serves the middle ground.
"We're targeting that original Loaded audience who miss all of that kind of thing that is no longer around for men."
Hitting out at the demise of lads magazines and the culture surrounding them, Levy fumed: "Why are men not entitled to their platform, their safe space in society to appreciate beautiful women?"
Levy added that with the relaunch, men can still "read about sport, read about tech, travel, and the exciting stuff that kind of gets you going".

Further defending male-themed publications, Levy said of women's publications: "Women have got millions of publications they can turn to, and they can say 'men stuff off, that's a women's magazine!'
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"Men are not allowed to be red-blooded males anymore, are they? I'm here to champion the men!"
Martin was in agreement with Levy and praised her "superb" take on the Loaded relaunch. When questioned on whether she has received "hate" and "trolling" as a female editor leading a male magazine, Levy revealed that she has.
Levy told GB News: "I have, and I did use the word ogle apparently another interview, and of course, people have picked up on that.
"Male editor, female editor, does it matter? Let's be impartial. Let's give men a voice. Let's be fair to men."

Detailing the new take on Loaded and her decision not to include naked women in future issues, Levy admitted that she may "disappoint men" by choosing not to.
Levy explained: "There will not be any bare breasts anymore, we're not going to see girls bent over with lollipops hanging out of their mouths.
"We did choose to put Liz Hurley on the special edition relaunch issue 30 years later, and I can confirm she still looks 30 years old, but you won't always see females on the cover and you won't see that much female content throughout Loaded anymore.
"Although we will serve you up with plenty of beautiful women, I can guarantee that, just alongside their more intelligent backstory."
