A Just Stop Oil activist has avoided prison for her part in M25 protests that caused significant disruption to motorists in November 2022.
Phoebe Plummer, 23, was handed a two-year prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service.
Plummer, from Lambeth, south London, was convicted of conspiring to disrupt the M25 by a jury at Southwark Crown Court.
Judge Justin Cole described the protesters as "arrogant" for thinking they were "cleverer" than those whose everyday lives they disrupted.

He said: "It was part of a plan to cause major disruption to the M25 by climbing on motorway gantries."
The judge noted that while neither Plummer nor fellow activist David Mann played an organisational role, they were "motivated by a desire to cause large-scale disruption and to attract publicity for JSO and their aims."
The protests, which continued over four days, cost the Metropolitan Police more than £1million and the economy more than £750,000.
Mourners missed funerals and students were late for exams as traffic ground to a halt during the demonstrations.

Before sentencing, Plummer, who represented herself, remained defiant, telling the court: "I will always try to speak the truth even when there are attempts to silence me. Whatever sentence you give me today will not deter me."
The judge said there was a "realistic prospect of rehabilitation" when suspending Plummer's prison sentence.
Mann, 51, who had earlier admitted the offence, was handed an 18-month community order including 100 hours of community service.
Plummer, who is on benefits, was ordered to pay £500 in costs at a rate of £30 per month, while Mann must pay £200 at £20 per month.
