Jeremy Corbyn has launched a fresh rant on Boris Johnson before claiming that the Conservative leadership candidates are “promising to make the situation worse”.
Mr Johnson announced his resignation as Tory Party leader last week following mounting pressure from MPs amid the Chris Pincher row.
A total of six candidates remain in the race to become the next Tory Party leader – Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss, Kemi Badenoch, Penny Mordaunt, Tom Tugendhat and Suella Braverman.

But Labour MP Mr Corbyn isn’t convinced by any of the candidates, while also aiming a dig at the current PM.
He wrote on Twitter: “Boris Johnson is the third Tory PM in 10 years & leaves behind him 14 million in poverty, a record number of people going hungry, a severe mental health crisis, more billionaires & gross levels of inequality.
“Every candidate vying to succeed him is promising to make the situation worse.”
On Wednesday, both Jeremy Hunt and Nadhim Zahawi dropped out of the running after failing to secure the support of 30 MPs.
The six who made it through will now proceed to a series of votes among MPs, eliminating the last placed candidate in each round until a final two are left.
The remaining two will then face Conservative Party members at a series of hustings around the country over the summer, who will vote to select the new leader, and therefore Prime Minister.
