EuroMillions ticket holder wins biggest EVER prize of £208m as players urged to check their numbers

The record-setting lottery prize has now been scooped by one lucky winner based in Ireland tonight.

Meanwhile, the UK Millionaire Maker Selection winner is XPCD66044.

Three ticket holders came very close, with two from the UK securing all five numbers in the main draw but only one of the lucky stars. They will have won over £6.2million each.

Meanwhile 16 ticket holders, four from the UK, have won with five main numbers, all of which are worth £16,119.10 each.

In total, there were 3,959,141 winners in Tuesday's draw, with 1,257,592 from the UK. Overall, £18,483,776.20 has been won in the UK.

The winner is set to become wealthier than some of Britain's most successful celebrities.

The jackpot winnings would place them ahead of singer Adele's estimated £175million fortune and boxer Anthony Joshua's £195million wealth.

No one has walked away with the top prize of half a million in the Thunderball tonight.

Two ticket holders did, however, match five numbers, meaning they won £5,000 each.
