Police officers engaged in a tense stand off with travellers on a popular Devon park.
Travellers arrived on the lands owned by the Cullompton Community Association (CCA).
The area is popular with local dog walkers and and nearby Cullompton residents.
However, an encampment attempted to enter the site leading to a stand off with officers from Devon and Cornwall Police.

The entrance to the land was blocked off while a large group of police officers negotiated with the group.
One of the travellers told DevonLive: "We're not going to leave a mess and we will not be staying long. We've come from Worcestershire today (July 3)".
A witness at the scene said: "The police are blocking the entrance to the CCA Fields.
"Traffic is struggling in the area as it's only a small lane down to the entrance to the spot."

It comes after the weekly Bournemouth Parkrun had to be cancelled after travellers shocked volunteers with an overnight encampment.
Experienced runner and father Dave Goodyear told GB News: "It was a real shame that they were forced to cancel it. I live right by the park, but don’t normally get to go because my daughter has dancing."
Elsewhere, caravans and vehicles arrived at Swanshurst Park in the Billesley area of Birmingham on Tuesday, just 24 hours after volunteers had finished clearing rubbish left by a previous group.
The popular family park on the outskirts of Moseley has seen multiple encampments since April, with different groups of travellers settling on the field near the children's play area.
Local volunteers have repeatedly been left to clear rubbish following each departure, with residents describing the clean-up efforts as primarily falling to community members with some council assistance.
