British families have said goodbye to the traditional English breakfast and hello to the trendier Avacado, a new poll has found.
Black pudding, fried bread and baked beans could soon be a thing of the past as 31 percent of Brits are now swapping out the hearty favourites for healthier alternatives.
While avocados, vegetarian sausages and plant-based milks rated highly amongst millennials, fried bread hadn’t even been tried by over a quarter of those surveyed.
Black pudding and kippers were also discarded as unfashionable, along with Builders’ tea which 22 per cent of respondents said they would never drink.

Rather dairy alternatives like oat, almond, or coconut milk was a preferred option for a morning tea.
Online food and drink company Milk & More surveyed 1,500 adults who all rated components of the British Fry-up.
84 percent said eggs are still an essential brekkie element with over half wanting them friend and 34 percent like them scrambled. And of course, the only option is free range (59 percent) and locally supplied produce (41 percent).
Bacon was also a winner, but previous fatty strips have been swapped for healthier options.
Andrew Kendall, chief operating Officer for Milk & More said: “The research supports what we see in our customer online orders every day – that breakfast, including the classic Full English, is as popular as ever”.
