A child has died and four people were taken to hospital following a horror house fire in Bradford this morning.
West Yorkshire Police were called about the incident at 1.08am, with the four remaining residents now receiving non-life-threatening treatment.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a serious house fire on Kingsdale Drive, Bradford.
A woman and three children were assisted after escaping the blaze.
The Bradford home has been sealed off by police following the fire.
An upstairs dormer window has been either kicked out or forced out by the fire.
Surrounding the window is charring from the flames and smoke.
In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "At 1.08 this morning (5 May) Police were called by the fire service to reports of a serious house fire on Kingsdale Drive, Bradford.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:"A woman and three children managed to escape the property and were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
"A fourth child was found inside the address and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene," police added.
"A scene is currently in place at the address and police are working with the fire investigators to establish the exact cause of the fire."
West Yorkshire Fire Service said: "We were called to reports of a house fire at 01.05 this morning on Kingsdale Drive in Bradford.
"We sent three crews, two from Bradford and one from Shipley.
"On arrival crews used two hose reels and four breathing apparatus. Sadly, a fatality was found in the property.
"Fire Investigators are working with colleagues in West Yorkshire Police to establish the circumstances."
Investigators continue to walk around the property as the probe continues.
