Pupils have been evacuated from a Birmingham school following a "bomb threat".
Police were called to Arena Academy today after the threat was sent to its email.
The secondary school near Great Barr was evacuated this morning and pupils will not be returning for the rest of the day.
A West Midlands Police spokesman told GB News: "We were called after a bomb threat was received by the school via an email.
"Officers have attended and at this stage we don’t believe there is any credible threat."
In a later update, the force told GB News that a "number of schools" in the city had received bomb threats.
The statement read: "We’re investigating after bomb threats were sent to a number of schools in Birmingham via email.
"We're in contact with the schools and at this stage we don’t believe there is any credible threat.

Arena Academy, formerly known as Perry Beeches Academy, is surrounded by several other schools.
These include Priestly Smith Special School, Perry Beeches Nursery School, Beeches Infant School and Beeches Junior School.
According to an alert to parents seen by BirminghamLive, Arena Academy pupils were evacuated to a nearby park.
It read: "We have received a message from Priestley Smith School this morning informing us there has been a bomb threat.
"We are not sure if this is a credible threat but we're following our protocols and currently evacuating to Turnbury Park.
"Police are also supporting us. We will keep you fully informed."
Arena Academy currently has around 1,105 pupils enrolled.
It was rated "Good" by Ofsted following its most recent inspection in 2024.
