Lloyds Banking Group has announced an extra 55 branches are set to close by next year.
Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland, which are all part of the Lloyds Banking Group, have already reduced the amount of physical branches in recent years, as younger customers opt to bank online rather than coming into the store.
Lloyds are set to close 19 more branches, bringing their total closures to 128.
Halifax are set to close 32 more more branches, bringing their total closures to 119.
Bank of Scotland are set to close four more branches, bringing their total closures to 45 in total.
Over the past few years, bank and building society branches have been disappearing from the high streets at a rapid pace.

GETTYThose who are affected the extra bank branch closures announced by Lloyds Banking Group can check if a Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland 'community banker' is visiting their area.
Community bankers will have a dedicated office space in a local venue for customers to chat in private and can offer support with account enquiries, though they don't offer cash or counter services.
Alternatively, customers can head to a nearby Post Office where they can withdraw cash and make deposits into their bank account.

Banks and building societies have closed 6,128 branches since January 2015, at a rate of around 53 each month, Which? consumer group found.
This represents more than 62 per cent of the branches that were open at the start of 2015.
NatWest Group, which comprises NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank, has closed 1,402 branches - the most of any banking group.
Lloyds Banking Group has shut down 1,205 sites.
Barclays is the individual bank that has reduced its network the most, with 1,227 branches now closed.
