Speaking in the GB Newsroom today, Emily Carver said of the first edition of the show featuring Nigel: "He got a bit of an interesting reception didn't he?
"Ant and Dec had to make a dig at GB News. They said we only have two viewers, Keith and Linda. Well, Keith and Linda, you are very much welcome to watch our new show, my new show Good Afternoon Britain with me, Emily Carver and Tom Harwood."
Emily then gave her thoughts on Farage's debut in the jungle: "I thought Nigel Farage actually went down quite well. He was quite buddy buddy with people. He took on a leadership role, didn't he? Right from the start when it came to those tasks."
Looking ahead, Emily then concluded by saying: "So, yes, Nigel Farage, everyone here at GB News wishing you the best of luck with that challenge tomorrow.
"I imagine that you'll probably be voted to do quite a few more challenges."
