The faults of the recalled items include undeclared allergens, contamination from stones and the possible presence of plastic

Tesco has a number of food recalls live with cereal, own brand crisps and salt all affected.

Anyone who has bought these products should return them to stores for a full refund.

The latest recall includes Rude Health Low Sugar Granola Almond & Hazelnut, in the 400g pack size.

The products to look out for have the best before dates of April 17, 2024, May 11, 2024 and June 12, 2024.

The warning was issued as some batches may have been contaminated with small stones and could be dangerous if eaten.

Tesco said: "If you’ve bought an affected product, please don’t eat it. Instead, return it to a Tesco store for a refund. No receipt is required."

Rude Health added: "No other batches of Low Sugar Granola or other Rude Health products are affected by this recall. This is not an allergen risk.

"If you have bought the above product we advise you not to consume it."

A selection of flavours of Tesco 'Free From' crisp range have also been recalled.

A Tesco statement reads: "We’re recalling one date code of Tesco Free From 150g packs of Onion Rings, Cheese Flavour Balls and Bacon Rashers, as they may contain gluten which isn’t declared on the packaging.

"This could be a risk to people who have coeliac disease or an allergy/intolerance to gluten.

"All batch codes are affected and those who have purchased the crisps should check for the use by date of December 16, 2023.
