A brand-new collection allows shoppers to snap up designer-inspired goodies for less

Lidl has launched a limited-edition bag charm collection inspired by the supermarket's "viral and cult-status products".

The collection features charms based on iconic items, including a buttery croissant from the in-store bakery and the legendary leopard print kettle that achieved "sell-out success".

As British supermarkets look to expand their style offerings ahead of summer, this comes as M&S launches an "epic" clothing collection that promises style and quality.

In its latest range, Lidl taps into 2025's breakout fashion obsession with bag charms, which have been embraced by high-end designers and celebrities alike.

The discount supermarket has put its own spin on the craze, with six "joyful" trinkets celebrating the supermarket's most recognisable items.

The move follows the success of Lidl's internet-breaking croissant handbags, which sold out in just two minutes, demonstrating the supermarket's ability to turn everyday essentials into "must-have accessories".

Bag charms have experienced a massive surge in popularity, with searches rising by 400 per cent since 2024.

The accessory trend has been embraced by luxury fashion houses including Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci, all of whom have released their own collections.

Celebrities have also adopted the trend, with many spotted wearing the now-infamous 'Labubu' charms on their Birkin bags.

The accessories have been seen jingling on runways across the globe, establishing bag charms as a fashion phenomenon that continues to gain momentum.

The trend has transformed from a niche accessory into a mainstream fashion statement, with high-end designers and A-list celebrities helping to drive its widespread adoption across the fashion world.

The collection features six trinkets that celebrate Lidl's "most iconic" items, including the award-winning all-butter croissant and a trio of Oakland tomatoes bringing the fresh produce aisle to the catwalk.

Shoppers can also secure a replica of the lovable Lidl Bear (the supermarket's Christmas icon), alongside the cult-favourite leopard print kettle reimagined in holographic charm form.

The "eclectic" collection is tied together with a stylish leather tassel in the supermarket's signature blue, red and yellow colours, alongside a squishy Lidl logo.
