The branch in Swansea's Morfa Shopping Park is set to close today.

This follows closures in Birkenhead, Coventry, Nottingham and Lanarkshire.

Earlier this month, locations in St Stephen's Shopping Centre, Hull, Alexandra Retail Park, Grimsby, Lakeside Retail Park and Scunthorpe have shut.

Riverside in Norwich, Bridgend’s Parc Plaza, Cardiff Bay and Cardiff’s Newport Road are all scheduled to close, although no dates have been confirmed yet.

An Argos spokesperson said: "The transformation of our Argos store and distribution network has been progressing at pace for several years now, improving availability, convenience and service for customers.

"As part of this we are continuing to open new Argos stores and collection points in many of our Sainsbury’s supermarkets, enabling customers to purchase thousands of technology, home and toy products from Argos while picking up their groceries."

A total of 100 sites are thought to be preparing the close.
