The TV personality lives in the quiet neighbourhood of Wapping
Graham Norton is best known as the host of the Graham Norton Show and the Eurovision Song Contest.
Away from the limelight, however, the TV personality spends time in his London pad, at the heart of one of the city’s unlikely areas.
Graham has previously spoken of Wapping in an interview with The Standard, describing it as his home.
According to property experts at Cluttons: “Wapping is a hidden gem along the River Thames, with charming cobbled streets and historic buildings including Prospect of Whitby, the oldest riverside pub in London, dating back to 1520.
“Professionals are often attracted to the area because it is within walking distance to both the City and Canary Wharf.”
The neighbourhood is within walking distance of Tower Bridge, and Limehouse, offering residents top lifestyle options.
According to Rightmove, properties in the area had an overall average price of £685,368 over the last year.
The property website added: “The majority of sales in Wapping during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £679,895.
“Terraced properties sold for an average of £710,364, with semi-detached properties fetching £817,500.
“Overall, sold prices in Wapping over the last year were 22 per cent down on the previous year and 13 per cent down on the 2017 peak of £785,206.”
Popular attractions in the area include Wilton’s Music Hall and outdoor activities at Shadwell Basin.
St Katherine Docks, a hub for taverns and restaurants, is among the most coveted spots to visit in the neighbourhood.
The area was also once the execution dock where pirates would be hanged for their crimes.
Dame Helen Mirren also owns a 19th-century four-story Georgian townhouse located on the edge of the Thames River and overlooking a communal garden.

Like Wapping, the area also has a small village feel and is home to scores of bars and restaurants.
Those who have visited the area have shared praise on Tripadvisor and the area has a rating of 4.5 out of five stars.
“Pleasant area to visit, not for the tourist who is hunting for sightseeing spots,” wrote one person. “The main road is tree-lined in October, and the leaves are turning and falling. There are quite a few sidewalks.”
