"Functional and stylish fitted storage such as wardrobes, alcove cupboards, media shelves and bookcases not only boost a property’s value but also its saleability as we often equate built in furniture with quality.”
The expert claimed adding this to the home can increase the value of any property.
Fitting furniture, such as cabinets and cupboards, can be a cheap job - especially if willing to do some DIY.
“Fitted furniture can transform the look and feel of any room, whether it’s a new build or a period property by adding character and depth whilst providing a focal point," John continued.
"What’s more it doesn’t need to be expensive if you’re prepared to install and paint it yourself.
"Our made to measure furniture is delivered to customers as a kit for them to fit pre-cut, pre-drilled in modular, flat pack format along with instructions for DIY installation.”
John shared some cabinet DIY transformations, including one woman who upgraded the sunken space next to her fireplace.
She transformed the plain, grey wall into alcove cabinets featuring media shelf shelves, filled with books and a television.
