In exciting news for dog owners, Aldi will launch an extensive pet range on August 14, complete with William Morris-inspired bedding.
The retailer has developed a collection of "exclusive" items in response to growing demand from pet owners seeking attractive accessories that complement their home décor.

'Gone are the days of ugly pet toys'

The bedding represents a departure from conventional pet furniture, allowing homeowners to pamper their pooches without "compromising on interiors".
The range extends beyond bedding to include various pet enrichment products. These encompass fragranced soft toys, puzzle feeders, and textured feeding mats, all priced to appeal to cost-conscious yet style-savvy consumers.
"Gone are the days of ugly pet toys" Aldi will roll out £2.99 aromatic plush playthings.
These feature marine-inspired shapes such as turtles, octopi, and starfish, each infused with floral or sweet fragrances including rose, lavender, strawberry, and vanilla essences.
What's more, Aldi's puzzle feeders (£3.40) will now make a return, having been redesigned to resemble strawberry patches, sandwiches, and spherical shapes.
Pet owners can conceal rewards within the textile layers, prompting animals to investigate and forage.
Additionally, textured feeding accessories shaped like carrots, frozen desserts, and watermelon slices retail at £1.79.
These surfaces accommodate spreadable treats such as nut butters or dairy products, promoting measured consumption and instinctive searching behaviours.
The mats serve dual purposes during feeding or recreational periods, supporting digestive health while alleviating pet stress.
