The makeup teacher has recently taken to the video-sharing profile to share her words of wisdom when it comes to the common makeup mistakes that could enhance your wrinkles and fine lines.
Hydrated base
First things first, Ms Weimer emphasised that she would “never again” apply makeup to a face that has not been adequately prepped and hydrated.
Her goal is to “allow her makeup to be able to glide over” her skin, rather than “stick into” creases.
Consequently, hydration must always come first, Kimberley instructs, and the beauty experts at No7 have declared the same.
It’s important to start with a clean and moisturised complexion, assisting with hydration and preparation for makeup.

To go one further, a primer “to lock in your look” could further assist you in your quest to make your makeup “glide” more seamlessly onto your visage - but a little goes a long way, the gurus warned.
Use a colour-corrector
“You will not see me placing light concealer underneath my dark undereyes,” Ms Weimer sternly said, explaining how she always colour corrects first.
While concealer seeks to cover up imperfections, the beauticians at NYX Cosmetics say, colour-correctors use colour theory to “neutralise unwanted tones for more even-looking skin”.

Swap out powder-based products
Ms Weimer final ‘makeup mistake’ that she condemns are powder-based products due to their tendency to settle in between wrinkles and fine lines.
Instead, she urges older ladies to pick up cream formulations because they move with the skin and they do not dry - which allows you to build product where desired.
Additionally, she raved that they were less likely to crease, helping to create a “dewy, youthful, hydrated" look as opposed to a "dry, matte, cakey" finish.
