John Lewis is bringing beloved teddies back to life with a brand new repair service starting September 24.
The retailer will offer cleaning and restoration for soft toys across all its shops, with prices beginning at just £20.
Offering a second life to children's prized possessions, the service promises to tackle everything from grubby fur to more serious issues like lost eyes or flattened stuffing.
Launching in a matter of weeks, these much-loved childhood friends can sparkle again in time for Christmas morning.
The partnership with Johnsons, which belongs to the Timpson Group, brings serious expertise to the project.
Julie Tatchell and Amanda Middleditch from BBC's The Repair Shop – better known as the Teddy Bear Ladies – have trained the Johnsons team in toy restoration techniques.
The team are now well versed in the delicate art of opening seams, fitting new stuffing, mending fragile noses, and creating invisible stitches, as well as general cleaning.
The service will be available at more than 200 Waitrose shops alongside all John Lewis stores.

John Lewis assured shoppers that their "cherished companions" are all welcome, "no matter how threadbare or loved to bits".
The announcement came on National Teddy Bear Day, September 9, giving families plenty of time to dig out their tatty teddies before the service launches later this month.
It adds to John Lewis and Waitrose's growing repair offerings, which have already handled more than 2,300 fixes in 2025.
Director of services and hospitality at John Lewis, Katie Papakonstantinou, said: "We're really pleased to be launching our new teddy bear repair and refresh service.
"We know how much these cuddly companions mean to our customers, so we're delighted to give them a new lease of life.
"Whether it is a missing eye to a much-needed wash, our expert 'teddy surgeons' are ready to work their magic. After all, a bear isn't just for Christmas!"
Sharing their passion for the project, Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell added: "We're thrilled to support the launch of John Lewis's teddy repair service.
"This is about so much more than stitching and stuffing — it's about giving soft toys a second chance, teaching children about caring for what they love, and keeping memories alive. It's wonderful to make these repairs accessible for everyone."
