Two branches will shut this month

Now, one more branch is confirmed to shut up shop this Friday, on September 15.

The Oakham Church Street Costa Coffee in the East Midlands will shut this week.

Those in the area can visit the nearby Oakham Costa Drive Thru, which opened in September last year.

The next cafe to close will be the West Bridgford location, which will shut up shop on September 22.

Coffee lovers are urged to check locally for alternative stores.

There are more than 2,000 Costa locations in the UK, so most Britons will be able to find another nearby.

Costa Coffee is also available in a number of convenience stores from Costa in-store machines.

Other cafes are also set to open and there has been a push in drive-thru locations.

More drive-thru stores have opened

In August last year, the coffee giant reached 300 drive-thru locations across the country.

It has recently opened new drive-thru stores in Warrington, Wakefield and Kendal.

Costa Coffee is not the only high street favourite that has opened or closed branches.

Marks & Spencer, Iceland, Wetherspoon and Wilko have all shared updates on their branches.
