Lidl is set to launch an enticing daily giveaway programme tomorrow, offering complimentary bakery products to customers through its digital platform.
The supermarket chain will provide shoppers with the opportunity to claim one of 21 different baked goods at no cost from its "beloved bakery".
The initiative, dubbed the Lidl Bakery Spin, will operate exclusively through the retailer's smartphone app from July 31 until August 20.
Participants can secure treats such as buttery French pastries and savoury pizza portions, plus limited-edition "guest stars" hitting bakery shelves every two weeks.

Securing the goods is straightforward: customers need only make a purchase and scan their loyalty app at the till to unlock their daily spin opportunity.
Once activated, shoppers have seven days to access the digital wheel within the app and discover which complimentary item they have won.
The discount chain's bakery has garnered considerable acclaim on social platforms, with enthusiasts describing it as "elite" and "the only thing still holding [them] together".

There's a generous selection of pastries up for grabs, with the supermarket refreshing its bakery selection fortnightly, complete with limited-time specialities and permanent favourites.
The comprehensive selection encompasses both sweet and savoury options, including the retailer's best-selling all-butter croissant, which sells at an astonishing rate of 218 per minute.
Other prizes include cheese twists, maple and pecan plaits, various doughnuts, pizza slices, Belgian buns, and rosemary focaccia rolls.

Additional offerings include pain au chocolat, apple turnovers, assorted cookies, jam-filled doughnuts, toffee yum yums, and chocolate hazelnut-flavoured treats.
The promotion will end on August 20, with the retailer encouraging customers to download the digital platform to participate in the daily spins and secure their complimentary bakery selections.
And, the major retailer is not stopping there with its app features. From next year, the supermarket will revamp its shopping experience with a new self-scanning feature built directly into its Lidl Plus loyalty app.
The innovation will enable customers to scan items as they shop, monitor their spending and savings in real time, and complete purchases swiftly at self-checkout terminals.
