The recall is specific to the item that has been sold in England, Scotland and Wales stores only.

No other Fin Carré or Lidl products are known to be affected by the recall.

The warning was shared as the product may contain plastic, making it unsafe to eat with a potential choking hazard.

A Lidl statement said: "Lidl GB is recalling the above-mentioned product due to the potential presence of foreign bodies (plastic) which may present a choking hazard.

"If you have bought the above product we advise you not to eat it.

"Customers are asked to return this product to the nearest store where a full refund will be given."

The retailer shared an apology and gave advice to shoppers wanting more details.

It continued: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation.

"For further information, contact Customer Care on customer.care@lidl.co.uk or 0203 966 5566."

The recall was made because the product contains milk which was not declared in bold on the pack.

Products are recalled when they could cause a possible health or safety risk to those who have consumed them.

The Food Standards Agency will often share recalls and details on what items customers should be aware of.

It said: "If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
