Healthy and balanced diets are the backbone of weight loss strategies, but it's not always clear what these look like.
As a general rule of thumb, it is paramount to get enough fat, carbohydrates and protein in the diet.
Chicken as a protein source often catches the attention of dieters for its ability to curb appetite and support muscle mass.
One such dieter named Emma Hooker, (@emmaa.getsfitt), claims she ate the source of poultry every day to drop from 330lb (23st 8lb) to 180lb (12st 12lb).

“I had chicken every day on my 160lb weight loss journey - here’s how I make it,” she shared, showing viewers her air fryer.
She uses pre-cut chicken fillets sprayed in olive oil and seasoned with herbs, spices and granulated onion.
“Set your air fryer to 375 for 12 minutes," Emma added. Protein often emerges as a key player in stories about successful weight loss transformation because it offers several benefits.
Medical experts at WebMD state: “Research suggests that 25 to 30 grams of protein per meal can help us feel more full.
“Protein-rich meals can make us feel fuller despite us eating less, which helps to promote better weight management.
“A good rich in protein, chicken can help with weight management and reduce the risk of heart disease.”
While diet is an important aspect of weight loss, successful weight loss calls for changes across the board.
In a recent clip, Emma shared five lifestyle hacks that helped her reach her goals.
Being in a calorie deficit, being more active, and drinking more water were key tools in her transformation, she claimed.
