Major car brands have had to recall more than 150,000 vehicles over safety concerns affecting the drivers on the road.
Mercedes Benz, was one of the main car companies and said it will recall 116,020 vehicles due to an improperly secured 48-volt ground connection.
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday drivers who think they might be affected should use the recall tool to find out.
Elsewhere, Chrysler has revealed it is recalling 38,164 vehicles due to an issue which can prevent the driver's airbag from deploying in a crash.

Mercedes Benz said it will recall 116,020 vehicles
PASimilarly, Stellantis is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Wagoneer vehicles, among others, as the steering column control module on them may not be welded properly, potentially affecting the driver's airbag.
The company said dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module, as necessary and free of charge.
In 2023, 1,000 recalls were issued in just one year for vehicles, car seats, tires, RVs and other equipment, according to the NHTSA.
It found that nearly 35million vehicles were recalled in 2023, highlighting the importance of checking for recalls and completing much-needed recall repairs.
Data found that Tesla vehicles were among the most recalled in 2023, with 2.5m being recorded as faulty by the administration.
Vehicle owners should check for open recalls at least twice a year, the administration explained. A good reminder is to always check when daylight saving time begins and ends.
Sophie Shulman, deputy administrator at the NHTSA, said: “While not all recalls are high profile, all recalls are a safety issue.
“Unrepaired recalls can make your vehicle less safe for you, your family, and others on the road.
“When you change your clocks, check for recalls. And if you have an open recall, call your dealership immediately to schedule a free repair.”
Last week Honda, Hyundai and Kia experienced similar problems with a total of 200,000 vehicles being recalled for a range of issues which could put drivers around the world at risk.
In total, 198,371 cars have been recalled in the US and South Korea, in addition to another brand being placed under investigation.
Honda vehicles came under scrutiny following complaints of crashes and fires.
The regulator detailed how a separate report from the Office of Defects Investigation received 46 complaints, which included reports of three crashes or fires and two injuries.

Responding to the investigation, the carmaker said: "Honda has already been in communication with the agency on this topic and will cooperate with the NHTSA through the investigation process, while continuing our own internal review of the available information."
