Drivers can now save £1,500 off the price of 17 electric vehicles from the brands which met sustainability and environmental goals outlined by the Government through its Science Based Targets.
The discounts will be applied at the point of sale, with drivers not required to fill in any paperwork or ask for the incentive to be applied.
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander said: "With discounts on seventeen car models announced this week alone, we're delivering on our promise to make it easier and cheaper for families to go electric.

The support is being rolled out to help drivers switch away from petrol and diesel vehicles and towards cleaner, electric cars.
It also aids manufacturers in meeting targets outlined in the Zero Emission Vehicles, which requires brands to have a minimum percentage of car sales come from electric vehicles.
By the end of the year, manufacturers need to achieve at least 28 per cent, before rising every year, before reaching 80 per cent at the end of the decade.
