Local drivers have slammed a hypnotic new road development amid fears it could lead to serious accidents as motorists have difficulties understanding how the new roundabout operates.
Motorists on the Isle of Man have questioned the £25million redevelopment of the Douglas seafront, especially with the revamp of roundabouts.
The new "roundels" feature four full circles in place of a standard roundabout along the Promenade, which connects Broadway and Church Road Marina.
The two busy junctions see locals and tourists heading to the popular seafront area of Douglas, which attracts thousands of holidaymakers every year.

Since there is a lack of a central island, many are warning that motorists not familiar with the area could find themselves involved in an accident.
Some locals even reported that pedestrians are facing issues since people are unsure which road user has the right of way.
One local business owner said the noise pollution was noticeable, especially since drivers were more hesitant to travel.
They told MailOnline: "It's honking every day basically. People aren't sure what the rules are or if there are any rules at all, and so they basically all fight each other to get through.

"Other, more dangerous drivers just speed straight over them, it's a nightmare really - nobody around here can work out why they introduced them. They're a tragedy waiting to happen."
The Isle of Man Government said it was refurbishing the Douglas Promenade to modernise the layout of the highway, which would provide more pedestrian facilities.
Another frustrated local described the situation as "pathetic", before questioning why the Isle of Man couldn't have "normal roundabouts like the rest of the world".
Thy added: "It seems we always have to be different on this island, and that gets tiring after a while.
One concerned local described the 'roundels' as 'deathtraps'

"I suppose roundabouts were always going to be next. Let's make them deathtraps!"
GB News has contacted the Isle of Man Department for Infrastructure for a comment.
Rules 184 to 190 of the Highway Code deal with how road users should approach roundabouts and how to act with their signals.
It does not contain any specific guidance for "roundels", although it states that drivers should approach mini roundabouts in the same way as normal roundabouts.

All vehicles must pass around the central markings, although large vehicles are exempt as they could be physically incapable of doing so.
It highlights that drivers should "remember" that there is less space to manoeuvre and less time to signal when travelling towards a mini roundabout.
