Brooklyn has continued to 'snub' his family, not responding to public displays he's been included in

Victoria Beckham seems to be suffering "emotional strain" amid ongoing evidence of a rift between her family and her son, Brooklyn, a body language expert has claimed.

For months, reports of a feud have followed the Beckhams, with Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz repeatedly failing to acknowledge or post on social media about certain family milestones, despite the pair sharing tributes to each other and Peltz's family.

Brooklyn has been missing from significant family celebrations, including David's 50th birthday parties in Miami and London, and has remained silent on social media during both his parents' milestone occasions.

The 26-year-old recently seemed to make his position clear in a pointed Instagram post featuring a video of himself and wife Nicola riding a motorcycle.

In the caption, Brooklyn wrote: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby."

Family sources have described Brooklyn's Instagram post as both "disappointing but unsurprising" if intended as a criticism of his family.

A source close to the Beckhams told The Sun the message seemed "very pointed" and showed "how much this situation with his family has escalated".

Both David and Victoria have included their oldest son in posts celebrating the family, with a recent post from the former football legend on Father's Day ignored by the aspiring chef.

While younger Beckham brothers Romeo and Cruz have shared seemingly pointed digs of their own at their brother, it seems the power couple have only attempted to reach out to their son.

Speaking to GB News, Angela Kyte, an MSc-qualified psychotherapist and psychologist, analysed what recent photos and posts suggest.

"David and Victoria often exhibit composed, unified body language, standing close, subtly angled toward each other, and projecting a calm, polished exterior," she began,

Addressing the change in the Beckham matriarch's body language, the expert continued: "However, minor cues such as facial tightness, pursed lips, or distant gazes could hint at emotional strain.

"It’s not unusual for parents to experience ambivalence during transitional periods in their children’s lives, especially when public scrutiny adds pressure."

Victoria and David have both reached out to Brooklyn with apparent olive branches through social media posts, with the parents tagging him in posts he has failed to respond to.

Sharing her professional thoughts on this, Kyte continued: "From a psychological lens, absence is not always avoidance. While we might notice that Brooklyn’s social media leans heavily toward his life with Nicola, this could be more about individuation than estrangement.

"It’s completely normal in early adulthood, especially post-marriage, for individuals to shift their emotional focus toward their new family unit.

"This process, known as 'differentiation,' is a healthy developmental stage and doesn’t necessarily signal conflict with parents."

When asked how Nicola and Brooklyn come across, the psychologist explained: "Looking at their body language, the couple often appear physically close, with mirroring posture, eye contact, and touch, which typically signal emotional connection and synchrony.

"However, in some photos, subtle cues like tightened jaws, tension in the shoulders, or a lack of shared gaze can sometimes indicate stress or internal preoccupation.

"That said, these can just as easily reflect a long day or media fatigue. It’s best not to diagnose based on a pout!"

The pointed social media activity continues. Over the weekend, Brooklyn shared another gushing post about his wife of three years, adding to his social media feed a photograph of her beside Louis Vuitton luggage with the caption: "My girl xx."

In the latest development of the rift and display of defiance against the Beckhams, Nicola reciprocated Brooklyn's tribute on Monday with a three-word tribute to her husband, where she wrote: "You're my world."
