The Irish singer and actress is beleived to have died suddenly
Actress and singer Rose-Marie Kane has died suddenly at the age of 68, with fans paying tribute to the former Doctors star.
The Irish singer's death was confirmed with a post of her official Facebook page on Friday.
Taking to social media, fans posted tributes to the singer, with one writing: "Rose-Marie Kane was beautiful and talented and funny. She was always willing to join in on bits on several shows. RIP"
"So sad, we went to see her a couple of years ago, in the west end, what a performance she put on, RIP Rose Marie," another shared.
"Oh this is so heartbreaking, I’m completely shocked," a third added, with someone else writing: "Omg how sad. RIP and keep brightening heaven with your fantastic music."

"Very sad to hear this RIP x," another fan added. Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Tricia Penrose, best known for her role as Gina Ward in ITV series Heartbeat, expressed her devastation at the loss of her close friend.
"I am absolutely heartbroken to lose my dear friend Rose-Marie RIP my dear heart," she stated.
"We were only together this time last week in Blackpool. I'm going to miss you so much xxx."

Radio presenter Robin Elliott, who sadly shared how he had made plans to meet with the singer, also paid tribute.
He claimed Kane had been in the process of recording her 20th album and that he'd planned to visit Blackpool at the end of the month to do a celebrity audience with her on the North Pier.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, she remarked: "I just can't believe this has happened.

"I've known her for a hell of a long time, I first met her in the '90s.
"I worked on a TV show with her called Something for the Weekend for the BBC, and then over the years our paths crossed many times."
The actress also appeared in several other shows, such as Shooting Stars and Big Brother's Little Brother.
She enjoyed more acting roles in stage productions and played Rita in 2001 film Cold Fish.
