The Location, Location, Location presenter reunited with Kristie Allsopp on set today

Phil Spencer's parents tragically died last month when they were involved in a tragic car accident at their farm.

Spencer shared the news in a heartbreaking statement at the time in which he explained dad David, 89, and mum Anne, 82 "toppled over a bridge" in their car into the river below.

The Channel 4 presenter added: "There were no physical injuries and I very much doubt they would have even fought it - they would have held hands under the water and quietly slipped away."

Tributes soon poured in for Spencer, with his Location, Location, Location co-host Kirstie Allsopp issuing a lengthy one of her own on her public Instagram page.

Three weeks on, Allsopp has returned to the social media platform but this time alongside Spencer as they film new scenes for their Channel 4 show.

"He’s back at work, and was very, very touched by all your messages," Allsopp captioned a clip of the two. "I even managed to get him to say it on insta. Bless him."

"And I didn’t quite know what my next post on Instagram would be because the last post was about Phil’s mum and dad and you all put such lovely, lovely messages and Phil was so grateful.

"I have found him, there he is," Allsopp added as Spencer walked into the frame.

The presenter said: "Hello, I'm very grateful, thank you. I haven’t put anything on Instagram either. I do appreciate people’s lovely, lovely comments."

Allsopp then took the reigns again as she concluded: "You see, he’s English and he’s a man and he’s done really, really well so round of applause to Phil for doing that and – thank you, you’ve all been so kind."

Fans rushed to send their messages of support to Spencer after seeing him back alongside Allsopp on the set of the show.

One fan replied in the comments section: "He has been in my thoughts a lot over the last few weeks.

"It’s lovely to see the two of you together and I’m sure you are being a wonderful support to him. Lots of love to Phil and his family."
