Michael Mosley's wife has thanked fans of her husband for the "outpouring of love" they have shared since his body was found in Greece.
Dr Clare Bailey posted on social media to say that the support had "meant a huge amount to me and my family".
The 67-year-old TV doctor went missing on June 5 while on holiday with his wife on the Greek island of Symi.
Fans were left devastated when police confirmed they had discovered his body on a hillside after five day search operation.
Breaking her silence on her grief almost two weeks after Mosley first went missing, Bailey vowed she would continue her husband's work.
She said her late husband had gained "so much joy and such a sense of purpose" from his projects.
Mosley spent years promoting healthy eating and diets which could help Britons to lose weight.
In her statement on Instagram this morning, Bailey wrote: "Thank you all for your wonderfully supportive messages.
"The outpouring of love from so many people has meant a huge amount to me and my family.
"I'm going to be quiet for a while. I’m sure you will understand. But I will be back here soon.
