Reservoir Dogs star Michael Madsen, 66, arrested on domestic violence charges at Malibu home

Michael Madsen was arrested this past weekend for a "domestic battery misdemeanor", law authorities said.
The 66-year-old, who's best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs and The Hateful Eight, had authorities called to his home in the early hours of August 17.
According to Variety, law authorities at the Malibu/Lost Hill Sheriff’s Station were responding to a call that came in just after midnight.
At the scene, Madsen was arrested for a domestic battery misdemeanor under Penal Code 243(e)(1).
Under this section, it means force or violence was allegedly used against a cohabitant at home - Madsen's representatives have confirmed it was his wife, DeAnna Madsen.
The actor posted a $20,000 bond following his arrest and is no longer in custody.

Shortly after he posted bond, a Madsen rep told Variety: "It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both."
Madsen is yet to speak out about the incident via his social media channels but followers have made their feelings clear about the arrest on his latest Instagram update.
The 66-year-old has been a familiar face on the big and small screen ever since he shot to stardom in Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs in 1992.
Madsen played Mr Blonde in the iconic gangster drama alongside the likes of Tim Roth, Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Chris Penn, Edward Bunker and Tarantino himself.

Madsen's role in the film remains a memorable one with cinema fans thanks to his famous scene alongside a hostage police officer.
In the film, Madsen's Mr Blonde danced to Stealer Wheel's Stuck in the Middle With You before mutilating the police offer and dismembering his ear.
Reservoir Dogs was the first in a long line of collaborations with Tarantino as Madsen appeared in several other projects.
Madsen appeared opposite Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 as the assassin Budd.
He reunited with Tarantino on the star-studded drama The Hateful Eight as Joe Gage and they teamed up again for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.
While he may be best known for his collaborations with Tarantino, Madsen's CV boasts a plethora of roles in several other on-screen projects.
