The children of Katie Price and Peter Andre have responded to criticism about their privileged backgrounds as Princess Andre prepares to debut her solo television project on ITV.
The 18-year-old influencer and her brother Junior, 19, addressed the "nepo baby" accusations during promotional appearances for The Princess Diaries, which begins Sunday evening.
Speaking at an ITV launch event, Princess acknowledged that whilst the technical definition might apply, she has established herself independently over recent years.
"Well obviously if you're using the actual terms of a 'nepo baby' then yeah, but we are focusing on ourselves," she told The News Movement.

The reality series promises viewers an intimate glimpse into Princess's daily life, documenting her journey in the influencer industry separate from her celebrity parents.
Princess emphasised her professional accomplishments during the promotional tour, stating that she has constructed her career as an individual entity.
"This is our own career and I feel like within the last two years I've built myself as a solo person," she explained to the outlet.
The teenager has secured lucrative partnerships with major brands including Morphe and Superdrug, establishing her presence in the competitive influencer market.

Junior supported his sister's stance, acknowledging that whilst comparisons to their parents remain unavoidable, their achievements depend on personal effort.
"For us to succeed we have to put in the work for it," he stated, emphasising their dedication to developing careers independently.
Both siblings stressed their commitment to establishing themselves through determination rather than relying solely on their family connections.
Princess revealed that her new programme would showcase the reality behind her online presence, offering audiences authentic insight into her world.
"I feel like a lot of people base assumptions from what they see online but this will give people a proper insight," she told ITV.
The influencer's commercial achievements have positioned her as an emerging figure in her own right, with significant brand collaborations marking her progression.

Her brother Junior acknowledged the natural tendency for public comparisons with their renowned parents, describing it as "inevitable" given their family background.
"Obviously we're gonna be compared to our parents, they've done amazing things, that's where we come from," he said.
However, he maintained that their individual successes would stem from personal dedication and effort in their respective fields.
The siblings discussed their upbringing during media appearances, with Junior expressing gratitude for their parents' influence on their character development.
He described how both he and Princess had been raised to be courteous and grounded individuals, qualities he attributed to their family environment.
"What we're doing is focusing on ourselves and really driving and pushing our own careers and working hard," Junior explained during the launch event.
The duo also appeared on This Morning to promote the series, where Princess declared her independence from both parents in her professional endeavours.
"A lot of things I used to do was with my parents and now I'm doing a show that is independent and actually focused on me," she told the programme's hosts.
