Britain's Got Talent viewers claimed TK Magic’s act on Saturday was "painfully staged" after spotting a big mistake in his act.
As hopeful contestants performed for judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, it was magician TK Magic's act that sparked controversy among viewers.
His performance featured a surprise FaceTime call to Davina McCall, which left the audience initially amazed but quickly led to scepticism on social media as viewers questioned whether the moment had been staged.
TK Magic’s performance began when he asked Holden to select a number between one and six, and she chose the number six.
The magician then revealed a list of names he anticipated she might have in her contact list, with McCall's name appearing beside the chosen number six.
He then instructed Holden to make a FaceTime call to McCall, claiming she would answer, and as predicted, McCall did answer the call, leaving the audience astounded.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"There she is!" exclaimed an excited Holden, displaying her friend’s face on her phone screen and noting: "Hello gorgeous girl!"
Whilst the audience and judges were initially stunned by the performance, others at home were not buying it and quickly took to their social media accounts.
Many pointed out that Davina appeared fully made-up and dressed up for what should have been an unexpected call on a Sunday night.
One viewer wrote on X: "What an amazing coincidence Davina was all dressed, with her hair and makeup done for a surprise call on a Sunday night!!!!"

Another commented: "Davina sat with a full face of makeup and hair done as well as being dressed up and chilling in a chair, almost waiting for that call on a Sunday night is a bit suspicious."
"This is painfully staged," a third pointed out before a fourth said: "That has to be the worst card/magic trick I've ever seen. So long drawn out."
Someone else expressed: "Oh, was there a trick in there somewhere?"
A sixth penned: "Magician's choice then riffle force. Any magician could do this trick, so sad this is all it takes." (sic)
Further suspicions were raised when viewers noticed Cowell telling Davina, 'it's not live' during the call.
Despite the elaborate trick, which culminated in a mosaic in the crowd showing McCall holding her selected card, TK Magic didn't progress to the final.

It was the group Hear Our Voice and Joseph Charm who progressed to the final, with the latter receiving Dixon’s Golden Buzzer.
While some fans praised the emotional moment, others felt different acts were more deserving of the golden buzzer, particularly the Japanese dance troupe Idolls, who had impressed earlier in the show.
