Gregg Wallace calls out BBC Celebrity MasterChef's Charlotte Crosby for serving 'raw' dish: 'Too soft!'

Viewers of the BBC series have already issued complaints about the Geordie Shore star
The second episode of Celebrity MasterChef tonight saw Charlotte Crosby make a fatal mistake during the first challenge, leaving judge Gregg Wallace to highlight her error.
DJ and presenter Snoochie Shy was the first to be eliminated during Tuesday's first episode, leaving Crosby, Edith Bowman, Ian 'H' Watkins and Craig Doyle to move on to the next round - although the Geordie Shore star's behaviour in the kitchen left plenty to be desired by some viewers.
Kicking off the first challenge, Wallace, 59, and John Torode paired the stars up to test their ability to work as a team and how well they communicate with one another.
Explaining the premise to the stars, Torode, 59, said: "Charlotte and Edith, you are the blue team. H, Craig, you're the red team. So each team today is going to be tasked with cooking for Gregg and I. A dish which is actually a little bit of pastry work and each team will have to produce two portions of that dish.
"They have to look the same and they have to taste the same. The twist here is that only one member of each team will have the recipe. You're going to have to communicate with each other, otherwise you're not going to get the task done."
Bowman and Crosby were tasked with producing a lemon meringue pie with limoncello syrup, whilst Doyle and Watkins were asked to make two cannolis - deep-fried pastry tubes filled with two types of ricotta cream, chocolate and pistachio.

As the teams kicked off with just one hour to produce their deserts, Wallace and Torode were keen to see how well they communicated, with Crosby being an early worry for them.
Wallace noted to the camera: "You have got three disciplines here. One is the pastry work itself, which is the base of the tart. The other one, of course, is a lemon curd.
"And then of course a classic meringue. Edith has to take a little bit of responsibility for Charlotte here, so she's got to keep her eye on what Charlotte is doing."
Proving them right, Crosby shouted to Bowman: "I have accidentally done something really bad. I've separated all the eggs."

After watching them a little closer, Wallace added: "Charlotte and Edith, it's beginning to fall apart at the seams here.
"There's a lot of work to do and they've got to up the pace.
"Charlotte needs to stay calm and just follow the instructions. In terms of communication, Charlotte is just... she's not really listening, she's just kind of trying to make her own mind up as she goes. This is not the way."
Torode observed: "Edith and Charlotte haven't worked out their timings.
"They've got to get their meringue made and it's got to get in the oven and cook for 15 minutes."
As their time drew to a close, the pairs had to present the deserts to Torode and Wallace, with the latter immediately noting: "As a team and communication, I don't think it's quite worked.

Charlotte Crosby accidentally served John Torode and Gregg Wallace raw egg whites

"As you can see you have got two completely different meringues. Edith, your meringue has risen and it's in peaks. And yours, Charlotte, is flat"
Tasting the tart, Torode noted: "Charlotte, you've got a lovely sharpness from your lemon curd. The pastry itself is nice and crisp and really nicely thin. Your syrup is not really a syrup. It's warmed up limoncello."
Wallace immediately added: "The meringue, although you've got a crisp on the outside of it, it's too soft in the middle. It's raw egg white."
Discussing their feedback after, Bowman expressed: "I don't think it's possible for two different people to create two identical dishes."
Crosby agreed: "I don't, but we got lots of good comments."
