Gogglebox legend quits Channel 4 series after 10 years as co-stars left devastated

Gogglebox stars Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig-Webb have announced they're going to be leaving the Channel 4 show.
Webb has been a regular feature on the show for a decade and was joined by partner Lustig-Webb from 2019 onwards.
The pair took to Instagram to share the news with their followers as they issued both written and video statements.
"After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox," Webb's statement began.
He wrote further: "We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities.
"We would like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.

"We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans.
"Thank you for all of your love and support over the years," Webb signed off.
The two then recorded themselves in a video message for their fans where they reiterated their decision to leave.
The duo did the clip "just to say thank you for all your love and support over the years".
"It really has meant a lot," Webb added. "We just wanted to do this video just to say thank you to you guys."
While a number of heartbroken Gogglebox fans rushed to the comments section of the post, a number of the duo's co-stars also shared their well wishes.
Fellow telly watchers Jenny and Lee replied: "Good luck to you both. We will miss you but if you feel the time is right it’s right no more PRE-AMBLES lucky t**ts! Much love to you both, Jenny and Lee xx."
Meanwhile, Channel 4 star Dave and Shirley were similarly devastated as they replied: "Aww that's upset me and shirley!
"To think your finishing but we all take different paths you both take care lots of love dave and shirley xxx."

Elsewhere, Izzi Warner weighed in: "Gonna miss you both," followed by a series of crying and love heart emojis.
And Goggleboxers Simon and Jane added: "So sorry to hear this, Jane and I will miss you. Watching how you did it was super helpful to us newbies. And I will miss your quips about my hair!
"Best of luck with whatever you do next. Thank you for all the joy and laughter. X."
There was even a heartbroken message from Celebrity Gogglebox star and wife of GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford.
The Loose Women star weighed in: "Nooooooo!! You must do what’s best for you both but I will miss you SO much….and the dogs!" (sic)
