Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has issued a social media plea after capturing a burglar on camera who allegedly stole "random things" from her salon this week.
The 34-year-old revealed her business had been broken into as she shared images online, pleading anyone who recognises the culprit to come forward.
The man in question was picked up by security cameras and can be seen outside the salon.
"Anybody recognise this man? He broke into our salon in Leeds city centre at 4am on Tuesday morning," Warner penned.
"He spent 40 minutes to enter the salon and stole the most random things."
The TV-watching star went on to explain the thief had taken sentimental items, adding: "He took a few people’s kit bags which contain hairdressing equipment which second hand is not worth much but expensive to replace individually and some things of sentimental value!"
Ellie Warner has been a favourite on Channel 4's Gogglebox for years
Detailing the damage caused by the break-in, she continued: "The damage he has caused to the building is more than the value of the items he's taken, it was the most bizarre burglary!
"The salon is tint on North Street in Leeds city centre, any information would be greatly appreciated."
Fans soon took to the comments to support the Gogglebox star, with some suggesting dusting a nearby wheelie bin to try to identify the person.
Others also issued a warning to the TV star about revealing where she works online, with one writing: "Sorry about the break in but careful saying where you work Ellie. You have nearly 500k followers."
Another echoed this, adding: "You’ve now told everyone where you work though. I’d maybe take that down just incase some crazies turn up!"
Meanwhile, others expressed sympathy for the situation, with another writing: "Oh no Ellie, so sorry to hear this."
"Sorry that happened to you Ellie. Some people seem to have a compulsion to steal. I worked in retail and people stole the most random things, from used pens at the til to a cup with tea in it. It's dreadful you have lost your lost your items of both personal and monetary value. I hope you find him," another shared.
"He’s used a wheelie bin, look for it discarded for finger prints. Sorry to hear this," a fifth remarked.
