The comedian was the first Strictly star to be awarded a 10 last week

Eddie Kadi has been dealt a rather brutal blow to his Strictly Come Dancing chances, according to new data obtained by GB News.

Kadi and partner Karen Hauer will be riding high heading into Week Four after Shirley Ballas awarded them the first 10 of the series for their Men in Black-inspired Couple's Choice in Week Three.

They ended up finishing second on the leaderboard last week with a score of 34 overall after Craig Revel Horwood, Anton du Beke and Motsi Mabuse all then scored Kadi eight apiece.

Therefore, the prospect of facing the boot from the competition in Week Four may seem a very distant one given the glory of the previous week.

However, according to bookmakers' odds and expert analysis, this isn't the case as Kadi has found himself as one of the favourites for the chop come Sunday night.

In fact, only Jody Cundy - who finished at the bottom of Week Three's leaderboard - and Zara McDermott - who landed in Week Three's dance-off - are more likely to be eliminated.

Delving into the specifics behind the shift in the market, Gambling.com spokesperson James Leyfield exclusively told GB News: "Strictly fans may see Jody Cundy performing on the dance floor for a final time this weekend if the prices on online betting sites are anything to go by.

"The Paralympian is just 10/11 with Bet365 to be the next star eliminated from the series, but Zara McDermott isn't too far behind in the betting.

"The former Love Island star is just 3/1 to face a Strictly dumping on Sunday night, while comedian Eddie Kadi may not be laughing if he goes instead of Jody and Zara."

Explaining the blow to Kadi's chances in light of his Week Three success, Leyfield continued: "Eddie is the only other Strictly celebrity in single-figure odds (11/2) to go next, with the bookmakers pricing ex-Emmerdale star Adam Thomas at 10/1.

"But the former Dales favourite should have plenty of backing from soap super-fans to keep him on the dance floor for a bit longer.

"At odds of 125/1, it would be a huge surprise if Sherlock star Amanda Abbington were to exit the competition, so much so Holmes and Watson would need to launch an investigation."

Kadi and Hauer will perform an American Smooth to Tom Jones classic Sex Bomb on Saturday night in the hopes they have what it takes to prove the bookmakers wrong.

Whether they'll earn themselves another perfect score from Ballas remains to be seen, especially given the criticism levelled the Strictly judge's way as a result of raising the 10 paddle.

Shirley Ballas

In fact, Ballas hit back at one online troll who accused her of "drinking" before the show as they slammed the decision to give Kadi the perfect score.

Ballas' 10 wasn't enough for Kadi to top the leaderboard in Week Three, however, as the number one spot went to Angela Scanlon and her pro partner Carlos Gu.

Kadi will undoubtedly want to reign supreme at the peak of the leaderboard when Week Four concludes and avoid following in the footsteps of Week Three casualty, Nikita Kanda.

Kanda and her partner Gorka Marquez had to say their goodbyes in Week Three as they became the second pair eliminated after Les Dennis and Nancy Xu - although some fans claimed they were "stitched up" by BBC bosses after they spotted a trend with their routines.
