Escape to the Chateau couple Dick Strawbridge, 65, and Angel Adoree, 46, have opened up about the new renovations taking place at their French abode - despite spending nine seasons of their Channel 4 series making drastic changes to their chateau.
The couple found fame after leaving their home in the UK to relocate to an abandoned French chateau and relied on resourcefulness, hard work and innovation to revive the erstwhile glory of the huge building.
Since their first series in 2016, the couple have become wildly popular and despite no longer working on the Channel 4 series, have continued to share their life and adventures with their fans.
As well as posting on their Instagram and sharing stories on their podcast, the couple also tour up and down the country, sharing their tips and tricks when it comes to renovations and quirky tidbits.
Their previous tour - Dare To Do It - recently concluded in America, where they hosted their workshop show from February through to March, before coming home and preparing for their upcoming tour - Dick & Angel's Forever Home tour 2024.
Whilst the couple are excited to get back on the road, they recently revealed they have begun fresh renovations in their chateau, prompting Strawbridge to question why Adoree does it so extensively.
The Strawbridges finally returned to their podcast and revealed they were making changes to their home
Revealing which renovations will be taking place on their podcast, Strawbridge began: "There is a lot of work going on in the chateau whilst we're away on tour, so we want to get it up and running and ready.
"I was out there in the garden with Steve, builder mate Steve, he is still around the place, only a couple days of the week now but we are knocking down and putting a hole in the big barn so we can get plant into the garden.
"Some of the things that are going on are a lot of fun. We are beavering away."
Adoree excitedly replied: "Also, the last point before we go back to the start of the summer is that the house is having some real, like, deep TLC cleaning because next week we are actually doing the filming for the tour.

"A little bit of Jack of All Trades, a little bit of capsuling in the house and we try and do this as close as we can to the tour because actually it is really nice to get that update. It's all happening and it is all a lot of fun."
Exposing his wife's obsessiveness over cleaning their home - the Chateau De La Motte Husson - Strawbridge teased: "If you listen to our podcast, you will work out by now Angela loves getting the house in order.
"Any excuse for an event. And it's not sort of like dust around the place or a vacuum and things, because that can be done quite quickly, everything... you go to another level.
"We are going to be filming the chateau, a bit of the grounds and some drone stuff so we can see where we are now and, if it was dusty in the corner no one would notice...
"But having said that, we are still getting the deep clean because it is your opportunity."
Defending herself, Adoree expressed: "Yeah exactly! And also if we are going to be showing our house, of course, you want it to be the best version of itself."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Not wanting people to think they only clean for certain events or filming, Strawbridge assured fans: "But it was in sort of good nick anyway.
"We had events before we went away on summer holiday for the kids, we had the gardening days, a lot of things going on and that was lovely."
Whilst being excited about their upcoming tour - which kicks off October 6 - the couple had some reservations about their son, Arthur, 11, being able to come with them due to him starting school.
