Fans of Countryside have become fed up with the BBC show as many of the slammed the “woke” and “childish” episode on Sunday night.
Presenters Matt Baker and Charlotte Smith dedicated a few segments to AA Milne’s honey-loving bear, Winnie the Pooh, learning more about his 100 Aker Wood home.
Smith introduced the show and said: “Ashdown Forest in East Sussex is a diverse landscape of open heathland, hills and is a haven for wildlife.”
Baker continued: "It is the inspiration behind A.A Milne's 100-acre Wood from Winnie the Pooh,” before Smith went on: “One of our most loved literary characters whose story began a century ago.”

Making a small joke about the topic of discussion for the episode, Baker quipped: “And to celebrate, of course, we are going on a bear hunt."
Countryfile usually explores serious topics which have a massive effect on the environment, but the tame segment left many viewers furious, leaving them to express their outrage over the change in tone on their social media accounts.
One X user simply stated: “CBeebies edition of #countryfile today then,” as a second user compared: “Blue Peter edition #Countryfile."
"@BBCCountryfile what about food supply in your topics? Sick of the lack of balance," a third complained when highlighting they were unhappy with the content.
“BBCCountryfile is now the most negative programme on TV,” a fourth fumed, leaving a fifth to echo: “Soooo the BBC should change the name to either countrywoke or wokefile #countryfile.” (sic)#

Another issue which BBC viewers picked up on was a segment which saw Baker cutting and burning down trees – picking up on the evolving environmental harm.
This isn’t the first instance where viewers were left disgruntled with the show as they slammed the constant “climate change lecture” and claimed the shows agenda is “out of control”.
Whilst highlighting many issues within the show, Countryfile often tackles the everchanging global warming but some feel they are “force fed” the agenda.

After telling viewers that “average sea temperatures are warmer than ever recorded before", guest Dr Matt Frost issued a stark warning.
"When you see changes in the plankton, that's also showing up as changes in the fish. And then, when you look at what's going on on the seabed and other places, that's having a knock-on effect.
"It's pretty much conclusive now that it's being driven by what we call anthropogenic or man-made warming.
“I think my feeling is one of urgency. I think there's a sense we don't have a lot of time if we wanted to deal with these things."
