Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz seek help from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's lawyer as family feud escalates

Sources claim that Nicola and Brooklyn have hired British solicitor Jenny Afia, who works for the prestigious Schillings law firm.

Notably, Jenny Afia is known for representing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and it’s believed that Meghan may have offered the recommendation after the couples met at a party in Montecito, California, earlier this month.

The news has reportedly caused "much amusement" behind the scenes, given the well-documented tension between the Beckhams and the Sussexes.

"You couldn't really make it up, first Brooklyn and Nicola cosy up together and realise they have quite a lot in common, and then all of a sudden they have enlisted the help of the Sussexes' long-serving lawyer," a source told the Daily Mail.

"Nicola and Brooklyn are getting fed up of stories running they don't like. Nicola likes to control everything, and they have taken this rather drastic action."

"For the Beckhams, the irony isn't lost. They fell out with Meghan and Harry after they accused them of leaking stories- they were furious and Brooklyn knows that. The two couples are very close indeed," the source added.

Just three weeks ago, Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly attended a private dinner party with Harry and Meghan at the Montecito home of Brian Robbins, CEO of Paramount Pictures.

While the timing of the gathering raised eyebrows due to the ongoing family tensions, sources insist the dinner had been planned well before the public fallout.

Meghan and Nicola reportedly found common ground during the dinner, bonding over the challenges of navigating complex family dynamics in the spotlight.

A source told The Sun how they spoke about having been “positioned in the media as home-wreckers- the women to tear apart their husbands' families."

"Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her and said there was shared common ground."

David and Victoria Beckham were once close friends of Harry and Meghan, even attending the royal wedding in 2018 and reportedly offering the Sussexes use of their Beverly Hills home as a private retreat.

However, the relationship soured after Meghan allegedly suspected Victoria of leaking personal information to the press- a claim that caused a significant rift.

A source said that Meghan raised her concerns with Harry, prompting him to contact David directly.

"Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal David. Harry was very polite, but obviously, it was a pretty awkward exchange, and David was mortified."

Meanwhile, a recent video of Brooklyn and Nicola riding a motorbike together has further fuelled speculation.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Brooklyn is now being referred to as ‘the hostage.’ He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola, and it is heartbreaking."

They continued: "Videos like this are just not what he does. He will be dying inside. He’s soppy and he’s a romantic, but that video just isn’t him. He hates all of that stuff, so you have to wonder if Nicola was behind it."

In the caption of the clip, Brooklyn gushed: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby".
