BBC Strictly fans left baffled as Shayne Ward ‘copies’ co-star's appearance: ‘Evil twin story’

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the comparison between Shayne Ward and Pete Wicks
Strictly Come Dancing week five kicked off with a bang as per usual, with the professionals and their celeb partners walking down the stairs – however, many were quick to notice something odd about Shayne Ward.
Ward has been impressing judges week after week with his performances and chemistry with partner Nancy Xu.
He is yet to impress Strictly viewers as many have claimed that his “ego” was too big, leaving some to note they felt he knows he is a good dancer.
This week, viewers have once again turned on the X Factor singer as he seemed to be channelling his inner Pete Wicks as he walked down the stairs to the dancefloor.
Wicks and partner Jowita Przystal were the first couple to walk down the staircase, both wearing dark grey costumes, with Wicks’ hair being slicked back.
As Ward and Xu were announced, viewers noticed he was wearing similar items as Wicks, with his hair also being slicked back in a bun.

Not letting the moment slide, viewers took to their X accounts, leaving one to pen: “Why is Shayne dressed as Pete? #strictly.”
“Shayne Ward looks like the Poundland version of Pete Wicks tonight #strictly,” another expressed before a third added: “Shayne and Pete look-alike this week #Strictly.”
“When an ugly stranger calls you twin. No b***h #strictly,” another joked before a fifth exclaimed: “Everyone loves an evil twin story. #SCD #strictly.”
This week, Wicks and Przystał are performing the Rumba to Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis, whilst Ward and Xu are dancing the American Smooth to Get Here by Sam Smith.

Earlier this week, Wicks seemed to dodge a line of questioning which was aimed at the rumours surrounding a “romantic” relationship with Przystal.
The Only Way is Essex star recently sat down with Olivia Attwood on her podcast – So Wrong It’s Right – and was subjected to a brutal grilling.
"Your dating life. Maura Higgins," she bluntly noted which left Wicks to laugh and reply: "Me and Maura have known each other for a long time."
The pair have previously been spotted kissing outside the Broadwick Soho Hotel, cementing rumours the two were dating - although they've remained tight-lipped about their situation.

Not letting the comment slide, Attwood added: “You've had a kiss, we've seen it!" but Wicks quickly denied anything romantic had happened between the two, insisting: "No, you haven't seen it."
Swiftly moving on to his next romantic connection, she added: "We've seen a picture of it. Next thing I need to know, are you and your dance partner romantically involved?"
Wicks couldn’t contain his laughter at the comment, but didn’t shut down the rumours either as he deflected: “One of the biggest problems is my b*******.
“Well I'm having to wear like Spanx ... because otherwise Shirley will end up with a couple of black eyes."
